A family business started in the 1950's in Cairo Egypt, the business was started at a time when the Egyptian economy was in a devastating slump and the botanicals industry was almost completely destroyed.

 

The family worked to cultivate and develop indigenous plants and crops, working with local farming communities to build up the industry in Egypt again, and introducing Organic farming which has grown and expanded over the years since.

They now directly employ over 150 staff from the local area and indirectly over 10,000 workers including agricultural labourers and small holding farmers.
