Grown and harvested in Calabria, a region in southern Italy, on the tip of the Italian peninsula. It covers an area of over 15,000 square kilometres and is embraced by the Tyrrhenian and Ionian seas.

 

Historically, for centuries most of Calabria used to be farming land. From Calabria, lemons entered Europe around 1 century AD. In fact, this region's terrain proved ideal for growing citrus fruits - and it still is!

 

For more than a Century this family run farm has been growing, harvesting and distilling citrus oils of the best quality. Farming as an industry is in decline, but the production of citrus oils is still in high demand and this enables the local communities to keep their traditions and pass the knowledge and experience of over a Century to the next generation, passed down through the family.
